Having been born and bred near one of the largest wetlands in Kenya that nurtured a strong connection to nature, I feel truly fortunate to work with Wetlands International.
As the Senior Finance and Operations Officer, my role is to ensure that all administrative, financial, contracting and procurement functions are carried out in a manner consistent with the projects’ objectives and in compliance with donor regulations.
Before joining Wetlands International in 2013, I worked with a Kenyan franchise of the Global Council of Credit Unions for five years. It is in this dynamic environment of cooperative unions that I honed my skills in accounting and operations.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Banking and Finance option) from Moi University in Kenya, and currently pursuing Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi.
I enjoy looking for solutions and seeking opportunities in any context.
